Trend Micro, creators of security software such as PC-cillin antivirus are working on a web browser for the iPhone 3G according to a report by Arabian Business. The as yet unnamed browser could be available as early as December at the app store and will supposedly tackle the security flaws of the iPhone 3G. The iPhone 3G’s default Safari web browser has been criticized by experts for its vulnerability to various security threats. Trend Micro reported high customer interest in its iPhone 3G web browser and also said that it was premature for a price estimate on the browser.
