Overview :
Word Quest is a fun word search puzzle with many twists on the classic genre, challenging features, and unlimited possibilities for the avid vocabulary enthusiast. Unlike many other word search games, the algorithms that generate the puzzle layout were custom designed to create many intersections (including multiple intersections of three and even four words) and varied coverage amounts that are based on the level of difficulty of your choosing. Word Quest is OpenFeint enabled.

PLAY MODES
+ CLASSIC +
This is the classic word search game. Your goal is to find a list of words on a square board of letters. Depending on the difficulty settings, words can appear in reverse order and can intersect each other. Your points are tracked but you have an unlimited amount of time to complete the puzzle.
+ RUSH +
This mode introduces the element of time. The game starts with a puzzle board like Classic, but you have a limited amount of time to finish, and finding words not only gives you points but subtracts time. There are bonus or penalty points in this mode based on how fast you finish or whether you run out of time.
+ SHIFT +
A twist on the Classic, the game board is longer than it is wide. Only the words that are currently on-screen are listed, and the puzzle will automatically scroll as you find some of the words. If you like Classic, but wish the game play were longer, this is your mode. As with Classic, your points are tracked but you don't have to worry about time.
+ ACTION +
This mode combines Rush and Shift. The game starts with a puzzle board similar to Shift, but you have a limited amount of time to finish like in Rush. However, as an added challenge, the board will scroll automatically whether you found all the listed words or not. You can finish with both bonus and penalty points based on completion and time.
OTHER EDITIONS
The original paid version of the game includes several themes containing over 10,000 words. In-app theme purchases make it easy to expand the word lists, especially if you're looking for specific subjects. If you just want to try out the game, take a look at the Lite version. Are you an fanatic word hunter? Check out the Plus version.
+ PLUS +
This premium version includes all in-app available themes, which, if purchased individually, would be well over the cost of the standard edition. The themes will be kept up to date in the application, so if a new theme becomes available in-app, this version will be updated to include that new word list. There’s nothing to buy in-app.
