Apple will introduce the new iPhone series in September 2022. Four new models are expected, among them is the iPhone 14 Pro. A lot of information has already leaked online, including official CAD-renders revealing the new design. Based on these CAD-renders I have made this concept.
The iPhone 14 Pro (Max) will get a complete re-design – although the display size remains the same. After years, the notch will be replaced. Apple will opt for a punch-hole camera system. In addition a pill-form will be integrated for the Face ID sensors. Regretfully it still seems too early for Apple to integrate an in-display fingerprint sensor (Touch ID). Instead all focus will be put on Face ID.
On the rear Apple will also make a few changes. The camera lenses are bigger than before. In addition, Apple seems to integrate a new main camera with a 48MP resolution sensor. This would also allow for 8K video recordings.
Besides a new design and a renewed camera you may expect the iPhone 14 Pro to be driven by the ultra-powerful A16 Bionic. This chipset is not released yet, but Apple is known for their state-of-the-art hardware. Therefore many fans are eagerly awaiting the A16 Bionic. Also the software will be renewed. The new 2022 models will run on iOS 16.
The iPhone 14 Pro will likely offer a similar battery life as its predecessor. Hopefully the charging speed will be increased as the current iPhone 13 Pro only supports 20W Fast Charging.
